Hello all those interested in finding out more about the wonderful therapy of CranioSacral Therapy. My name is Deirdre Kennedy and I run the Adare CranioSacral Therapy clinic. Where best to start, but with some stories from my own clients:


"Explain what CST has done in a few words?!
Each visit brought new changes for my second son
Cian (3). From being able to speak to being able to go to Church without having to leave half way through, to not being shamed collecting him from pre-school when told about his behaviour, to his accepting toilet training. For my eldest son, Bernard (5) it was a happy confirmation he was on the right track. For new baby Maya (3 mts), it was no more colic and a regular sleeping pattern. For me it was being able to admit I wasn’t perfect and that it was ok!"


“I first brought my daughter Ella to Deirdre following a change in her sleep and behaviour pattern. She began crying hysterically for no apparent reason and had mucous build up. CST helped clear the mucous, stopped the crying and improved her sleep. Her speech development took a leap forward. Today she is a happier child than she ever was.”


My career started in the business world. I moved
into teaching and training before being led to CST
following its help in my recovery from chronic illness and pain. I trained to an advanced level with the Upledger Institute and now have a CST clinic for adults and children in the beautiful village of Adare, Co Limerick.


I also run study groups for CST students to complete their certification programs. I participate abroad regularly in multi-therapists/client intensive programmes and organise intensive programmes here in Ireland. Participation allows me to share in a worldwide pool of therapist skills. CST intensive programmes create an environment for deep healing, expose the scope of craniosacral therapy, and allow body wisdom the opportunity to respond to its own healing mechanisms.


I have a special interest in encompassing all family members to recognise and respond to change
following CST treatment.


Horses have been a part of my life since I was born so needless to say I treat horses too and have used them to facilitate clients in their therapy. For more information please see my website below.
