Fiona McDevitt Craniosacral Therapy, Dublin City Centre.

by Fiona McDevitt
(Dublin)

Why go for Craniosacral Therapy? Hello! I'm Fiona McDevitt and I practice as both a chartered physiotherapist and a craniosacral therapist. In my experience as a physiotherapist I have come to realise that the most effective tool in my particular toolbox is my hands!

Craniosacral Therapy allows me to use an even gentler touch to achieve a deeper level of healing whether it is for a sore back or headache or any odd aches and pains as well as facilitating the release of emotions associated with injuries e.g. whiplash. Cranio-Sacral therapy therefore blends seamlessly with physiotherapy and is an extraordinary adjunct.

My passions in work include musculo-skeletal conditions, muscle imbalance, back and neck pain, whiplash, foot conditions. CST has given me more tools to work with for otherwise difficult cases, colicky babies, chronic pain conditions, a range of neurological conditions, TMJ, Migraines or even some other unexplained or un-named dysfunctions, and general aches and pains.

Since studying at Trinity College Dublin a number of years ago, I have travelled extensively and worked in Australia and Canada as well as Ireland. The experience gained has been fundamental in honing both my skills and my belief in the power of touch, whether it is treating people with whom there is no common language or treating them in a tent while horse trekking in the Sahara Desert!

Over the years I had felt a void in my group of skills which was finally only filled when I discovered CST. Having recently returned from living in Canada I am presently working in Dublin city centre where I combine both treatments.

Luckily I love my job! So I look forward to meeting you and being an honoured participant in your healthy life journey!
