Hello, my name is Rose, and my practice is Gretchen "Rose" Brown Craniosacral Therapy & Massage. I am honored to assist people of all ages in healing the source of their pain, stress and trauma, and to help them live their lives with more awareness, balance, and enthusiasm.



While CranioSacral Therapy and Somatoemotioanl Release are at the center of my holistic bodywork practice, I draw from my broad experience and knowledge of therapeutic techniques to treat many acute and chronic pain and stress related consitions such as:

• Migraines and other headaches


• Neck and back pain


• Whiplash


• Jaw pain


• PMS


• Fibromyalgia


• Post-surgical pain


• Digestive problems.

I provide pregnancy support and postpartum healing and have significant experience helping women and their families where their has been traumatic pregnancy and birth.


I work with infants and children, treating constipation, reflux, colic, sleep disorders, ear problems, bonding issues and behavior and sensory integration problems.


I also work with teens with all sorts of emotional, behavioral, and physical problems and am under contract with the local county mental health department to provide alternative treatment to teens.


I continue to work with people experiencing emotional difficulties such as grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and to work with a wide range of emotional and physical trauma (including head trauma) in my therapeutic bodywork practice.

• State and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.


• Advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release.


• Techniques Certified.


• Approved Study Group Leader.


• Certified Teaching Assistant.


• Visiting Therapist for Integrative Intentions based in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico in their five day adult and pediatric comprehensive treatment programs.


• Additional training in Lymphatic Drainage and Brain Work through the Chikly Health Institute, Oro Valley, Arizona.

I come to my holisitc bodywork practice with a Masters of Arts in Humanistic Psychology from Beacon College, Boston, Massachusetts and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Social Work from Boston University, Boston Massachusetts plus over 20 years previous experience with adults, families, adolescents and groups as a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. I have significant training in numerous holistic therapeutic techniques and specialized training and experience treating people with histories of abuse, neglect, and other trauma including post traumatic stress disorder.
