Perhaps you have a fussy baby and wish you could just get some sleep. Baby may be having problems with nursing or is colicky.

These are my clients. I am Dianne Bohr of Mind, Body, Energy, Family CranioSacral Therapy. I am currently located in Santa Rosa, California. I also see clients in Redding, California, Ashland, Oregon, Eugene, Oregon and Portland, Oregon. I specialize in moms to be, fussy babies and children with sensory, social and academic challenges.

Working with me helps these individuals live happy, healthy and successful lives. My most rewarding experience was working with a four-year-old diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Within two months she progressed from primarily laying on her back, just barely crawling to standing upright on her knees. Today she can sit in a chair.

For over 30 years, I worked as an elementary and early childhood teacher. At the end of my teaching career my main focus was special needs children, providing individual schooling to children who could not be in the classroom due to physical and behavioral needs, anxiety, pregnancy, or with infants under 6 weeks old.

I was a Reiki Master and part of the alternative medical community in Eugene, Oregon when I discovered John Upledger and CranioSacral Therapy.

With the recommendation of several medical colleagues, I completed the required CST training through the Upledger Institute so I could help children with my healing hands. Part of that training included completing 500+ hours in massage therapy to obtain the license required to practice in Oregon. I have taken CranioSacral Therapy training through the advanced level including pediatrics.

My experience as a teacher has taught me to meet children and even infants where they are at. By following their cues they are more open to my touch and can benefit fully from the work. I work with the whole family, sometimes with one hand on the infant or child and the other on the parent.

I also provide information to the parents so that they can work with their child between sessions. I do this by drawing from my knowledge as a therapist as well as my knowledge as child development specialist.
