Why go for Craniosacral Therapy? Hi there, my name is Carina Collins and for the last 2 years I have been concentrating exclusively on Craniosacral Therapy at Elmwood Medical Practice in Frankfield, Grange, Douglas in Cork. I have noticed that my practice seems to attract two very particular types of clients:

• Mums and parents with infants/toddlers with conditions such as colic, constipation, eczema and other related conditions (you can find a much longer list by clicking here). In fact, I often find myself surrounded by baby, sisters and brothers and mum and dad all in the same room!



• People with chronic back pain - I am often the "last gasp" call for people who have had such a condition for a long time. I have been delighted with the results so far - as have my clients.

I was attracted to Craniosacral Therapy because of it's light touch but very powerful results. This makes it the ideal therapy for working on more delicate constitutions e.g. infants and people suffering from musculo-skeletal pain.

As I already mentioned - I started to use CST full-time in 2007 and shortly afterwards set up a website - www.craniosacral-therapy-healing.com to offer prospective clients an insight into this very effective therapy and the results it can achieve. This site has since grown to become one of the busiest CST sites world-wide - and I am thrilled with this growing interest.

My own qualifications: Well, I am a Mum myself - and this seems to be appreciated by the many mums of babies that I see. I have an orginal background as a Primary School teacher - but left that to become an Holistic Therapist in 2000 (working with Holistic Massage, Reiki and Bioenergy). I have found that this experience gave me a great appreciation for bodywork of all types.

In 2007 I became a fully qualified CST Therapist and have also trained in Paediatric CST.
